I am hoping they’ll have a  new good, easy, chili recipe. I feel like this recent cooler rainy weather calls for a good bowl of chili and I have never been able to make it.

Everybody has their favorite chili type but this is my easy recipe:

1 lb ground turkey (or other meat, 1 lb frozen roll turkey is $1.29 at Aldi)
1 can chili hot beans (any brand)
1 can diced chili seasoned tomatoes (any brand)
1 package chili seasoning OR chili powder, garlic salt, ground cumin to taste w/ a dash of sugar

    Brown turkey
    Add seasoning(s)
    Add beans & tomatoes
    Simmer at least 15 minutes

Cook up to 1 hour (adding a little water as needed) to amplify the flavors. Serve with crackers and sharp cheddar cheese. Serves about 5. Add more beans, tomatoes and water to serve larger crowds.
