Target: Updated Price Match Policy

target-logoAfter the Leap Frog Alphabet Pal sale Target has updated their price match policy online. You can check it out here.

The good news is the policy is more defined and clear, leaving less room for such big differences between stores and employees. I would still suggest printing it off and taking it with you when you plan to take advantage of price matching deals.

The updated policy does state that you can use a manufacturer coupon and/or Target coupon on an item that’s being price matched. That is good to know since several of you replied saying you were not allowed to use a coupon and price match.

There is also a long list of exclusions that you’ll want to be aware of. One of the new exclusions states you  cannot price match “Timed events” (e.g., early bird, doorbusters). This was not a part of the previous policy but it is good to know now with all the Thanksgiving and Christmas sales coming up.

Hope this clarification helps. Maybe the next deal that comes around would be quite so crazy.
