I tired an experiment in grocery shopping this morning-going early. I got up at 6 and left THE HUSBAND to feed the kids breakfast if they got up before I returned.
The pros: I did not have two young kids to load, unload, push in a cart, entertain, remind to be kind to each other etc.. I got some good produce on manager’s special. The store was not at all busy with customers.

THE HUSBAND kept the boys while I took my trip to Kroger tonight and it is a good thing he did. The trip took me longer than usual and I had to do a lot of thinking to make things work. We had hoped to head to the pumpkin patch today, but it was cold and rainy. THE HUSBAND and I had to rethink the morning.
We decided instead to take the boys to the free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic. It was really fun. They had fun banging away with hammers and I had fun watching them in their cute work aprons. Then we walked around the store checking out lights, swing sets, carpets and whatever else the boys saw.
