Organizing Your Coupons- My New Binder!

I have always used the envelope system.  I had a cute basket full of carefully  labeled envelopes organized in alphabetical order.  Maybe it was the onset of Spring, the complete mess the basket was or that it gave me a splinter last week- I had to change systems. I could not rest until I had my coupons organized in a binder. I bought a three ring binder and  picture album inserts with three pockets, all I needed was some time.

I have received several emails and comments (which I love) from readers who are saving more (yeah!) but still not hitting their budget. I thought sharing some of what I have learned might help.
The goal is not to just save a lot; the goal is to spend less.

If you shop and Kroger but are not signed up with Cellfire, Shortcuts or PGesaver I highly recommend doing it now! It is easy to sign up, just have your Kroger card number ready, and it can really help you save. How do you get the coupon booklet?
You will need to head on over to the pharmacy and ask for a $50 Walgreen’s saving booklet. It is a red booklet (similar to the previous booklet). These are FREE to anyone that asks about the new prescription savings plan.
You don’t have to purchase anything…..just ask about it to get the booklet.
