I was surprised to learn that books are not on the list of tax free items this weekend. So, it was nice to see The Book Gallery (a bookstore that already offers large discounts) is offering to pay your tax on all in-stock purchases made this weekend. That includes school book, books, audio books, journals etc.
They are also holding a book drive for East Tennessee Children’s Hospital this weekend. A great place to take all the books your children have out grown.
