Kroger: The Proof and Deals Week of 07-05-09

krogerlogoI saved $41.13 or 37% today at Kroger. Not a great savings week but I only spent $76.17 which is very close to my $75 goal!  There were a few things that brought down my percentage-

1. Some of my e coupons did not work. Argh.

2. I made a rookie mistake- I took my two sons and did not take any diapers or wipes. We did not need diapers this week but I ended up having to buy diapers and wipes on my trip.  Let’s just say we had a blow out in aisle 7.

a blinkie is one of those small, usually red, machines attached to shelves in the grocery store that have blinking red lights and are full of coupons.
