The new Kroger store in Fountain City opened today. I loaded up the boys and went. Wow, was it busy! There were police officers directing traffic, I had to wait for a parking spot and much to the boys disappointment all the “car carts” were taken.

Even with all of that I LOVE the new store.  It is bright, clean and the selection is outstanding. The produce, deli, bakery and natural food areas were my favorite. They are much bigger than the old store and the fresh baked breads looked yummy.

Free samples were everywhere! We didn’t even need lunch when we got home. The store was very well staffed, even with all the people there I only had one person in line in front of me.

It will take me a while to learn the new layout- even though they were passing out directories! I also told THE HUSBAND that it will be hard to stay on my budget while shopping there- everything looked so good! Speaking of budget, on to the best deals I got.
