THE HUSBAND’s birthday is just around the corner. He is one of those that doesn’t really get into celebrating and gifts and all.

So, needless to say the budget for his birthday gifts hovers right around $0.

No problem. I still have a fun surprise gift on the way.

I have found a few really easy ways to earn a little birthday gift/ holiday gift money.

The first is Clear Voice Surveys. It is easy to sign up, they just email you invites to do quick surveys. Once you complete them you earn a little money. You can take your earnings as cash and they will mail you a prepaid debit card or use them to buy gift certificates at stores like Amazon. This is usually what I do. You get an email with a code that you enter at checkout. It could not be easier.

American Consumer Opinion is another online survey site for which I have signed up. They are a little different in that they just send you a check when you complete a survey.

There are a lot of online survey companies and my advice would be to be very careful.

Never sign up for one you have to pay to belong to or have to buy products for.

If you have tried surveys and have a favorite I would love to hear about it.

Also, there is Swagbucks. You can download Swagbucks to your toolbar and use it to search with. Every so often you earn points or Swagbucks that you can then trade in for great products or gift cards. You can also follow them on Twitter or Facebook to earn more.

I searched with Swagbucks for a few months before Christmas and earned enough gift cards to really help with he Christmas budget.

All this to say, $0 from the family budget + one Amazon gift card from Clear Voice Surveys+ one Amazon gift card from Swagbucks = birthday fun for my OLD HUSBAND.
