CVS:$1 ECB Every 4th Visit with “Green Bag Tag”

14 October 2009 136 views View Comments

greenbagCVS is making an effort to go green. If you have not seen the Green Bag Tag in your CVS (I have not) it will be coming soon.

How are they going to work?

They will be on sale for $.99 and my guess is you will find them near registers or in long hanging rows on displays near the front. You buy one and attach it to your favorite reusable shopping bag. Then every time you shop at CVS you scan the Green Bag Tag when you scan your CVS card. Every 4th time your CVS Extra Care card and Green Bag Tag are scanned a $1 ECB will print at the bottom of your receipt. There is a limit of one green tag use/scan per day per household.

Now if I could only come up with a way of remembering my reusable bags when I go shopping.

I know Target takes $.05 off your order for every reusable bag you use. Do you know of any other stores offering incentives for using your own shopping bags?

Thanks, Couponing to Disney
